Mode of Action:
Tamron is a systemic, post-emergence herbicide that controls broadleaf and grassy weeds in maize (corn). It acts as a 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) inhibitor (HRAC Group 27), blocking carotenoid biosynthesis. This causes chlorophyll bleaching, leading to weed necrosis and death within 2-3 days.
